The sooner you register, the larger your eventual rebate. Nothing specal to do to qualify. Just PAY for your team.

When any team registers and PAYS (Important distinction), two things happen.
1) 2.5% of their registration fee will be divided evenly among every team that registers before them. 

2) $1 per day before 6/1/26 will be credited to the team. On opening day (2/6/26) that’s $115.

Thus, the earlier a team registers, the larger their total rebate.

We make no promises on how much you’ll earn back. This is NOT a Pyramid Scheme, more like a cashback credit card, but figure more in the tens to low hundreds, not a potentially free team.

5 Teams (A-E) register on opening day for $1800. They each get $115 for 115 days remaining. Each Team after A receives a split of the 2.5% calculated from the teams that follow them.

Team A - no one above them
Team B - $45.00 to team A
Team C - $22.50 each to teams A & B
Team D - $15.00 each to teams A, B, & C
Team E - $11.25 each to teams A - D

This brings their totals to the following:
A - $208.75
B - $163.75
C - $141.25
D - $126.25
E - $115.00

Yes. Semi-ultra teams will receive ¾ of the calculated splits and Ultras & 6-packs will receive 50% of the calculated splits.

Rebates are usable exclusively as NxNW credit. This credit can be used for any future NxNW event or merch purchase (coming soon). Think of it as an NxNW Gift card.

NxNW will provide periodic updates to captains with their balances through the spring and a final accounting two weeks after the race day. That balance (or portion thereof) can be requested at any time as a credit to a registration.

NxNW, upon request, CAN split balances amongst teammates, but prefers that be done for amounts of $10-per-person or more.

The 2.5% calculation will be done on the final amount that they pay after a discount is applied. Same with teams using past credit.

High School teams and sponsor comp’d teams are ineligible to receive rebate and will not be used to give rebate to other teams.

To try something different, to incentivize teams to get registered sooner rather than later (helpful for our planning purposes) as well as to incentivize spreading the word to more teams.
